"Art Draws Us All Together"

Art On Sedgwick, the community arts center founded by Charlie Branda in Chicago, hosted its third annual art exhibit last night.  AOS hosted the photography workshop I taught in conjunction with Women In Focus members.  What a thrill to see the talent and creativity of the kids who participated in the workshop on display!  Their works covered a wide range of conceptual and compositional photography and evidenced an excellent grasp of technique.  

Charlie Branda's vision has given life to AOS.  She is evidence of what one woman can do with passion and strength.  Art can be a force for change and she inspires me to believe.
